my book review

One of the books I read this year is called Make Lemonade by Virginia Euwer Wolff.
Make lemonade is about a girl named LaVaughn who needs to start saving money for college because she lives in the ghetto and she wants to get out. She starts baby sitting for a 17 year old girl named jolly that has two kids and she ends up helping her get a better life by getting her to go back to school, and take classes for young moms. LaVaughns mom isn’t too happy about her babysitting because LaVuaghns grades drop and she starts saying ain’t. All in all LaVaughn grows to love the kids and becomes friends with jolly.
The genre is contemporary fiction. The main characters are LaVaughn, Jolly, and Jolly’s kids. This story makes me think of my life because of how LaVaughn wants to go to college and she does all she can to do so. I haven’t exactly done that but when the time comes I will because I want to go to college and get a good education. My rating for this book is about a 10 because it is telling you what a lot of people go through daily. I would recommend this book for Adriana.

my favorite kind of weather is, sunny, warm, and breezy weather. i like it because you can always get a tan on sunny days. you can also go swimming. i really love the cold breeze that blows your hair around. that is why my favorite kind of weather is sunny, warm, and breezy!

what i did this weekend

i went to my dads for the weekend. for my birthday dinner we went to Chinese food. i got almond chicken which is the best! i also got sweet and sour pork which is second best. my birthday present was going to the movies. we saw A Christmas Carol with Jim Carey. it actually made me scream on a certain part cuz it was scary and surprising. one of my favorite parts about this weekend was that i got to hang out with my friend from Bonner's that i hadn't talked to in about 5 or 6 months. anyways that's what i did this weekend!

i am 12 years old. i live out in the boon tillies in troy montana. i know it sounds like a bad thing but its not. i love where i live. anyways, i have one cat named toby and i love him. i love sprite and coke. one of my favorite foods is deli chicken strips (they're sooo good!). i go to w.f. morrison elementary, my teacher is ms.chanin and shes awesome(very awesome!).i just got this bolg so i thought i would just say some stuff about my self!
